Community Resource Center
Located adjacent to our Tacoma Thrift Store, the Community Resource Center (CRC) provides a continuum of care to persons facing crisis, instability, homelessness and those in need regardless of race, religion or orientation. Our case workers work together with clients address critical needs such as housing solutions, shelter solutions, substance abuse disorder support, mental health stability, support for Hispanic and immigrant populations, and basic survival needs for both housed and unhoused individuals.
No appointment necessary. Case workers are available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM.

If you have previously received help from Pierce County and are in need of further assistance, if you have applied for assistance and are being threatened with eviction or if you would like to check on your current assistance application, please email Pierce County Human Services at HSrent@piercecountywa.gov.

St. Vinnie’s Helpline - Mission Outreach
St. Vinnies is here to help with emergency assistance to help provide for basic needs, such as rent, utilities, gas, food, clothing or referrals to other resources. We continue to provide assistance through St. Vinnie's Homeless Prevention & Basic Needs Program to those living in Pierce County facing immediate financial crisis on a case-by-case basis.

If you are not housed or do not see your zip code, please email us at assistance@svdptacoma.org and include:
- Your name, contact information, household size and briefly explain your emergency need. Please make sure to follow the directions in the automatic response.
- We will contact you within 24-72 hours
We may also request a home or office visit to find out what you need and formal identification. You do not need to be a member of any religion or faith to receive help. We welcome all who seek our services.
