Volunteering at St. Vinnies is rewarding, meaningful and fun!
We rely on our dedicated volunteers to help at our Tacoma Thrift Store to assist with sorting in production, support the Help Line and Mission Outreach, work at our auction event and more. In 2022, our retail volunteers gave more than 4,946 hours of their time to support our mission and benefit our neighbors in need. We love our volunteers!
Volunteer Opportunities
We have multiple volunteer opportunities available for individuals and groups at our Tacoma Thrift Store. For as few or as many hours per week you can provide, you make a difference. And, we always have fun! Thrift is Hip!

For nearly two decades, Elaine spent four days a week volunteering at St. Vinnies. She helped keep our book room well stocked and organized!
"Daily Dave" (left) is lovingly referred to around these parts because he shows up nearly every day to volunteer in “the yard!”
Members of Tacoma Rotary 8 volunteer monthly for St. Vinnie's Saturday Sort. They clean, sort and place merchandise that is placed on the retail floor. And, always have a smile on their face and fun stores to share!
